It takes 442 ODIs, 20 years of cricketing experience, 36 years of age and moreover a Sachin Tendulkar to hit a double century in an ODI! Today, Sachin has achieved the landmark of scoring 200 runs in a single inning of an ODI. This milestone was missed by narrow margins in the past by many batsmen. This not only helped India to win convincingly against South Africa but also set a new benchmark for other batsmen.

Shane Warne is happy that he was not bowling to Sachin today. Other players across the globe congratulated him too. In India all the news channels went gaga over his performance.
