12 Pakistani Cricketers Ready for IPL 3 Auction

So far a dozen of Pakistani cricketers have made themselves available for the players' auction to be held on January 17. The deadline for Pakistani players to apply for the auction ends on Thursday.




These players will have to contact Lalit Modi (IPL Chairperson) directly. Pakistani officials have issued a general NOC to the players to play in the IPL if they manage to get contracts. "None of the players have contacted the IPL through the PCB; they have done this directly themselves," said Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ejaz Butt.

Key players who are willing to participate are:

Shahid Afridi
Fawad Alam
Muhammad Aamer
Abdul Razzaq
Sohail Tanvir
Misbah-ul-Haq
Kamran Akmal and,
Umar Akmal

IPL 3 will see some actions from Pakistani players and this would definitely raise the level of competition.
