Australia is Enthusiastic about 2010 Commonwealth Games

After England’s positive response, Australia also showed enthusiasm to participate in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Also, Australia is planning to send largest-ever delegation of over 600 athletes, coaches, managers, medicos and officials, including Olympic and world champions.

Australian Commonwealth Games Association (ACGA) said "The team will be the largest ever to compete in an overseas Commonwealth Games campaign with the first round of team nominations including the provisional selection of eight track and field athletes, including world champions Steve Hooker and Dani Samuels,".

Discarding all the security concerns, Australia would focus more on the games and would compete for the maximum number of medals. They have traditional rivalry with England in CWG. This time they look forward to beat England with their high profile team of Athletes.

We now look forward to a healthy competition and a great sporting event to be hosted in New Delhi.
